What is the challenge?
This October, we're challenging dog lovers and running enthusiasts to run 100 miles across 31 days to help dogs in need. Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a new goal or simply looking for a reason to get moving, every mile you complete and every pound you raise will help us continue to care for and find loving homes for thousands of dogs across the UK.
Best of all, it's completely free to sign up. Once you register, you'll receive an exclusive 100 Miles in October shoelace tag and start tracking your progress throughout the month. As you work towards your mileage and fundraising goals, you'll unlock a series of digital badges to celebrate your achievements and keep you motivated.
You'll also be part of a supportive community of fellow dog lovers. Join our dedicated Facebook group to share your progress, swap training tips, and cheer each other on throughout the challenge. Plus, be the first to hear important updates and motivation from the our team through our brand-new Instagram Broadcast Channel.
Raise £150 and you can claim our newly designed Dogs Trust running top, giving you the perfect kit to show your support while you clock up the miles.

Percy's life beyond the track
After spending years racing, the world outside the track felt overwhelming. Simple things like walks, new places and meeting other dogs were scary because Percy never experienced them before.
Thanks to supporters, he received the specialist care, patience and encouragement needed to build confidence and discover life beyond racing.
Will you sign up to the 100 Miles in October Challenge and help us give more dogs the care, support and second chance they deserve?

What do you get from Dogs Trust?
- free running shoe lace tag on registration
- dedicated support and tips from our fundraising team
- materials and resources to support your challenge
- a Dogs Trust running top if you raise £150
- the chance to connect with a likeminded community of dog lovers.
